Grandfather Cachora (Yaqui/Maya)
and Grandmother Estefani (Kumiai) send you blessings and a warm invitation to their annual Solstice Gathering at Nido del
Aguila/Eagle's Nest at Aguaje de la Tuna in Tecate, Baja California.
You and your family are invited to four days of ceremony beginning June 24, 2010. Come with a good heart, respectful
attitude, and a desire to add your
good energy to these four days of ceremony. Bring your drums and rattles. Wear regalia or
ceremonial attire. There is no cost to attend, but your donations will be gratefully accepted (and are needed
to help with the costs of renting portable bathrooms, firewood, and so
on).
A special note: if you are reiki practitioner, energy healer,
bodyworker, nurse, doctor, etc., please consider bringing your massage
table or other tools to provide a heart-centered service to the local
community -- as is customary the dedicated ceremonial dancers are
offered our services first. In years past, the local community has
turned out early for limpias and other health services. This aspect is
the hallmark of persons who follow the path with heart. You will leave
with a wonderful glow in your heart knowing that you have made new
friends and a difference in the lives of some of the residents of Tecate
if only for a few days. There are lots of way to help....and it is
deeply appreciated.

Once you cross the border you turn left (2nd light) when you see the Tecate Park ahead you'll be
heading east, at the next light turn right, pass the McDonald's, cross the bridge (becomes Hwy 3) about 1/2 to 1 mile you

road that you almost miss if you are not looking for it. Turn in there then follow the turns indicated on the map, see link
below. The road is a little rough but usually manageable by most cars - although SUVs have it easier. You'll see small
