Grace supports an integrative health care approach. This is a thoughtful
blending of holistic practices such as curanderismo, reiki, qigong, massage or acupuncture, with a doctor's conventional
medical treatments. It is definitely not an either/or approach. Instead it seeks to incorporate both
in order to address the whole person: body, emotions, mind, relationships, and Spirit. Healing is effected through a commitment to ongoing
care, behavioral change and honest dialogue between client and practitioner.

Insurance Coverage for Reiki Energy Healing/Biofield Therapy:
For patients who are referred by their doctor, and whose insurance covers
biofield therapy/reiki energy healing sessions, there is a professional fee which may be billed to directly to the insurance
with prior authorization approval.
Curanderismo healing sessions are offered on
a donation basis:
It
is suggested that you take into consideration the complexity of your unique circumstances as well as the duration and
number of session(s), when considering the amount to be donated. As a rough rule of thumb, consider what you would
customarily pay per hour for an appointment with a massage therapist, physician or other health care professional,
then make your offering in the sincerest capacity so that you will not feel burdened. In this manner, the circle is complete
and the blessings generated are experienced by all.
Workers Compensation cases:
Clients with a pending Workers Compensation
case are accepted with prior authorization of the primary physician and insurance carrier (the insurance is billed directly
for services once authorization is granted). A signed authorization to
release information must be on file in order to provide information to doctors and insurance carriers. Keenan & Associates
is one carrier with whom Grace is listed as an authorized service provider.

Clients who are referred to Grace, receive
support that can promote their responding optimally to their medical, treatment. Aided by curanderismo and/or reiki energy
healing, many clients have undergone stressful medical procedures such as chemotherapy, surgery, and certain medication programs
associated with life-threatening illnesses, with a surprising degree of comfort. Ideally, these treatments become a part of
the client's overall individual treatment plan with Grace providing feedback to physicians as part of a multi-disciplinary
treatment team approach.
Awaken Your Inner Healer: Reiki training for the beginner to advanced practitioner.
Learning reiki can give you a new way to use
your healing ability to regain or maintain good health. As a practitioner, you can help enhance your family's health by regularly giving reiki
to your spouse, parents, siblings and children. Even animal companions and plants benefit from treatments.
Grace's teaching style is structured, creative, yet informal and set in an environment
that is peaceful, harmonious and safe. She has taught all levels of reiki since 1993 and enjoys teaching people from
all walks of life -- especially helping the budding student develop his/her innate healing ability and own
teaching style.
Continuing Education Units may be available for some reiki courses.
